Eline M. Hilgersom
DesignerEnergetic and bright, takes initiative and improves the lives and work of everyone around her.
Eline uses her diverse architectural, preservation, and urban design experience for Union projects while focusing on the community’s needs. She finds value in working on projects within existing structures and places to create livable and equitable places while ensuring an environmentally responsible footprint. While working in the Netherlands, Eline worked on a variety of projects within the historic district of Amsterdam, and since moving to the United States has worked as a Planning Assistant and Assistant Architectural Historian on many historic sites throughout New England.
She serves as a mentor with the ACE Rhode Island program and when not working likes to ride her bike and explore spots to hike or climb.
Eline received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and continued her studies at Roger Williams University where she earned her Master of Science in Historic Preservation. She also received her Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning and was awarded the “M.S. in Preservation Practices Academic Excellence Award.”
