James Valentine

Good-humored and always endeavoring to learn new things in service of more sustainable building practices

James brings solid technical drawing skills guided by optimism and a strong sense of empathy to the Union team.

He is fascinated by the process of developing a building from a two-dimensional concept into a tangible structure and enjoys coordinating, and learning from, the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. He is committed to advancing sustainable design strategies and integration through project work and continued education.

After hours, James is learning to play the guitar and the piano. He enjoys spending time outside in (almost) all of New England’s seasons, whether hiking, skiing, or spending time with family and friends.

James received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering with Distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
