Tradition is a new compact neighborhood planned to preserve over 30 acres of the natural landscape. The Tradition team invited Union to design a portfolio of homes that would add an authentic Hudson Valley charm to the village. Each floor plan includes a range of elevation style options, from the classical cape to romantic shingle to contemporary farmhouse. The compact, alley-loaded lots take garage entries off the street and help to create a pedestrian-friendly environment. Each of these features contributes to the strong sense of place at Tradition.

The Mail Pavilion is both the beacon for the neighborhood and a gathering place for its residents. Designed as a “jewel box” in the neighborhood park, the building can host small receptions or set the stage for a concert in addition to its daily function as the neighborhood post office. The Mail Pavilion will serve as the primary neighborhood gathering space while the Clubhouse is under construction.
