Nicknamed “The Birdhouse” due to its narrow, three-story design, this project was an extensive renovation of an existing single-story house. Located in the scenic Prouts Neck area of Scarborough, Maine, the renovation had to adhere to strict zoning requirements. The solution was a vertical addition that gives the owners an extra two floors and the house its distinctive character. The finishes and fixtures selected by the homeowner give the interior a unique and elegant personal touch.
