An outdated neighborhood is revitalized with an emphasis on meeting the needs of future tenants.

Union provided the planning and architectural design for this major revitalization of a former, rundown navy housing project. This work represents phase three of five distinct phases to upgrade and modernize the neighborhood and to bring the livability of the buildings and spaces up to today’s standards.

The project consists of multiple two- to three-story wood framed buildings set within in a much larger neighborhood. They include a mix of townhouse apartments and multi-family style buildings that accommodate a wide range of tenant lifestyles and needs. The buildings have been carefully planned and designed to foster a sense of home ownership for every resident, with an individual entrance on each unit.
