Frenchtown Road Apartments is a new multi-family housing development in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. This project delivers 63 affordable apartments (32 one-bedroom and 33 two-bedroom) in a community facing critical housing shortages for its aging population on fixed incomes, particularly as property values and taxes continue to rise.
The community is age-inclusive and designed to serve individuals who maintain personal independence but who do require a level of structured daily support and oversight. It’s an ideal living situation for people for whom living completely independent is no longer advisable. The supportive environment focuses on providing a variety of on-site amenities and services that encourage sociability, activity, independence, and good health.
