For AIDS Care Ocean State, Union Studio restored two late-1800s homes in Providence’s Parkis-Comstock Historical District. The homes now hold 10 individual and family units for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Union carried out extensive interior and exterior restoration, returning the houses to their original, highly detailed condition. The roughly $2 million project was funded in part by RI Housing and the HUD 811 program, which finances supportive housing for low-income people with disabilities
