On Saturday, February 21, Friends of the Tanner House and the Free Library of Philadelphia hosted a free, four-hour Cultural Heritage Resource Fair celebrating African American heritage sites and initiatives across the Greater Philadelphia region.

Celebrating African American Heritage Across Greater Philadelphia

The Union team participated with a project table, sharing the latest plans, renderings, and interior material samples to keep the broader public informed on Tanner House project updates and progress.

Open to all, the event brought together musicians, poets, speakers, and more, with programming curated by Friends of the Tanner House Board Members alongside a wide range of local organizations. Supported by 250PA, the fair served as a vibrant platform for honoring and elevating African American heritage sites and initiatives throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. On the sidelines of the event, Victoria sat down with WURD Radio for a conversation about the design process for the Tanner House project to date.
