At the corner of Knight and Westminster in Providence, SWAP gathered neighbors, builders, funders, and elected leaders to sign their names to 1077 Westminster
At the corner of Knight and Westminster in Providence’s West End 41 affordable homes are rising on a long-idle lot. The building brings thirteen one-bedrooms, nineteen two-bedrooms, and nine three-bedrooms to the community, with a portion of homes designed in partnership with West Bay for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Five stories of housing above street-level community and commercial space.
Several of us from the Union Studio team were there to add our signatures. We’re honored to be the architect, and grateful to walk this one alongside SWAP and the West End.
