Welcome, Evy!
We have a new face in the studio this summer, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce her.
This summer, we welcome Evy Wacker as the 2026 recipient of our United in Design scholarship. Evy comes to us from the Pacific Northwest, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Washington State University and now enters the final year of her Master of Architecture at the University of Oregon, studying at the intersection of architecture and graphic design—a pairing that promises a sharp eye for how places communicate as well as how they stand.
Evy’s work is driven by a deep commitment to equity in the built environment—asking who space is built for, and who it quietly holds in mind. Her recent studio work reaches past standard accessibility requirements to design environments that genuinely serve people across a full range of mobility, cognitive, and sensorial needs. It’s the kind of thinking that makes everyone’s experience richer, and it’s exactly the perspective we want around the table.
That perspective arrived in person this summer. Evy has joined us in Providence for the ten-week internship that’s at the heart of the United in Design program—daily project work, construction tours, and a research project of her own to carry forward.
We’re looking forward to Evy’s contributions to our team and our projects. Welcome!
