Alanna Jaworski and Elliott Richmond have been promoted to Senior Associate and Associate roles at Union.

Alanna Jaworski

Union Associate Alanna Jaworski has been promoted to Senior Associate at Union. Committed to the pursuit of architectural work that gives everyone the opportunity to thrive, in 2021 Alanna relocated to New England from New York City to take a position as Project Architect with Union. During her 2+ years with the firm, Alanna has designed and skillfully managed multiple complex projects on the Cape and Islands while building expertise in the design of affordable housing neighborhoods with high sustainability and energy goals.

She currently oversees a substantial and growing body of Union’s attainable and supportive housing projects on the Cape and Islands. This includes the execution of Union’s robust masterplan for a supportive housing project designed for adults with autism on Martha’s Vineyard that integrates a 4,800-square-foot common house and multiple affordable housing units within a functioning micro-farm.

Alanna received her Bachelor of Architecture, summa cum laude, from the Pratt Institute.

Elliott Richmond

Elliott Richmond has been promoted to Associate at Union. Elliott is committed to advancing Union’s sustainability mission and practices. His professional background in carpentry laid a solid foundation for his architectural career, infusing his designs with hands-on experience in building structures.

Since joining Union in 2018, Elliott has contributed expertise in 3D modeling for both architectural and mechanical engineering applications. A creative thinker with a strong background in high-end residential design, Elliott is well-versed in various architectural styles. He aspires to make a lasting impact on the built environment through environmental sustainability, integrating emerging building sciences with thoughtful, responsive architecture.

In his new role, Elliott looks forward to exploring and sharing innovative sustainable building practices, expanding his knowledge and involvement in project management, and mentoring younger designers in the office.

Elliott holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
