Elliott RichmondRA
AssociateLevel-headed, technologically savvy, and determined to enhance Union’s sustainability mission and practices.
The son of a woodworker, Elliott learned the skills of carpentry and design from an early age. His professional background in carpentry laid the foundation for his career as an architect, imbuing his design work with the lived experience of creating structures by hand.
Elliott previously worked for architecture firms in San Francisco and Massachusetts, bringing expertise in 3D modeling in both architectural settings and a mechanical engineering firm. A creative thinker, Elliott is well-versed in a variety of architectural styles and has a strong background in high-end residential design. He hopes his contribution to the built environment will be one of environmental sustainability, where emerging building sciences are synthesized with thoughtful and responsive architecture.
Outside of the office, Elliott enjoys tinkering on woodworking projects of various scales around his house and spending time in nature with his growing family.
Elliott earned his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
