Colette Boudreau Stall

Director of Marketing

Storytelling in service of work worth doing.

Colette’s marketing sensibilities grew out of a deep relationship with imagery. Her RISD education nurtured a way of seeing and thinking in pictures as much as in language — an enduring attribute that continues to shape every creative and strategic decision she makes.

Two decades of work across marketing and design firms with clients in industries from higher ed to policy advocacy, finance to emergency preparedness, biotech to philanthropy; and in-house creative roles with national and regional not-for-profit healthcare companies, gave her range, perspective and inspired a conviction to use her skills in service of organizations whose work endeavors to make lives better. At Union, that purpose finds abundant opportunity for expression as she shapes the stories around Union’s mission-driven, community focused architecture and planning work with compelling writing, visuals, and thought leadership content that extend the work’s reach and deepen its resonance.

Her journey from image-maker to strategic communicator is written in her career path — designer, art director, creative leadership, brand strategist, marketing communications manager leading to brand and marketing roles at the director level. The education mirrored that path: RISD undergrad; continuing design studies at School of Visual Arts, Parsons, and Academy of Art University; a Web Design/Development certificate from RISD; and a graduate-level certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell’s Johnson School of Management.

She peels away from screen time as much as possible for hot yoga, hiking, cooking, painting, gardening, concerts and travel.
