Union Studio has prepared a series of conceptual development plans for the 70-acre Grant Road parcel in Devens, MA. The plans were created for MassDevelopment as a means of studying potential unit mixes and planning layouts for the area, which is currently the largest undeveloped area of land zoned for residential use at this former army base. Union Studio’s conceptual plans show approximately 140-150 units on the site, clustered in smaller neighborhoods with ample public open space and walkability. The unit mix is envisioned as mixed-income single-family homes, duplexes and multi-family buildings.
