Kaitlin Gioia DeAngelisASSOC. AIA, CNU

Designer

Fun, enthusiastic about problem-solving, and willing to ask questions that inspire meaningful conversation.

Kaitlin is animated by community-based architecture that prioritizes people and improves their experience through the built environment. Kaitlin enjoys creating beautiful, place-based buildings that harmonize with their context and are situated in places that prioritize people over cars. She has experience in the efficient development of small-lot, energy-efficient homes and she is expanding this experience to larger mixed-use and multifamily buildings.

Kaitlin has encouraged and led the development of internal office practices that support emerging professionals and help new hires integrate into the office. She has volunteered with the American Institute of Architects Emerging Professional Committee, DownCity Design’s Cityworks inaugural cohort, mentored students from The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center (The Met), and guest critiqued at Roger Williams University and the Rhode Island School of Design. In her free time, she loves baking bread, tending her garden, and exploring Rhode Island’s many unique coastal towns, beaches, and hiking spots with her husband and beagle.

Kaitlin graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University.
