Hometown: Cumberland, Rhode Island

Philosophical idol: Ayn Rand, for her objectivism: “People create their own questions because they are afraid to look straight. All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don’t sit looking at it – walk.”

Non-Philosophical idol:  George Carlin, for his optimism and his ability to make cynicism funny. He communicated well and comically about difficult topics, treading on ground most would fear to meander.

Guilty Pleasure:  Eating a “cheat meal” on Saturday evening.  It is a nice mental break after being continually inundated with statements like, “Oh come on, live a little.”

On a Sunday afternoon you will likely find me: At the gym, working in my yard, or continually renovating my house.

Words to the wise: Success comes before work only in the dictionary; experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes; better to do something perfectly than to do nothing flawlessly.
